Karen Parker joined BU in 2008, having previously held HR management roles in Further Education and the University Sector.
As Director of Human Resources, Karen is responsible for leading and delivering the people strategy and leading the HR, Organisational Development and Health Safety and Wellbeing team.
Her responsibilities include, equality, diversity and inclusion, organisation design and implementation, leadership and talent development, relevant change and transformational projects, workforce planning and development across the University, delivery of an efficient HR service and reward and recognition.
Karen has over 25 years'聽experience in HR, has a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
