A group of researchers from BU are researching the lived experience of students entering higher education from 'non traditional' contexts. By bringing together research, educational practice and students as research co-creators, a unique lens is created through which to observe the situation.
The research mixes together traditional social science research methods with approaches drawn from the arts and humanities. The workshop will be a creative space for both academics and students to reflect and develop a better understanding of the experience of being a university student.
