It鈥檚 safe to say that Anna McNuff doesn鈥檛 do things by halves. After retiring from rowing for Great Britain, she realised an office job just wasn鈥檛 for her 鈥 and so rode a pink bicycle across every state of the USA.
Since then the self-confessed mischief maker has run the length of New Zealand, cycled the equivalent of 11 times the height of Everest through the Andes, and ran the Jurassic Coast dressed in a dinosaur onesie.
Named by The Guardian as one of the top female adventurers of our time, Anna is also passionate about telling her stories and inspiring others to challenge themselves.
Anna will be sharing her advice and experiences in two free talks at 成人直播鈥檚 Festival of Learning on Saturday 8th July.
She said: 鈥淚鈥檓 just going to share stories and try to take everyone that鈥檚 in the audience and put them up that mountain with me, or on that trail and hopefully they鈥檒l get a feel for what it鈥檚 like and get inspired to go out there and do something for themselves.鈥
We caught up with Anna to chat about her incredible adventures and her upcoming talks at 成人直播. Just don鈥檛 expect her to turn up in that dinosaur onesie鈥β
The 2017 Festival of Learning runs from Saturday 8 鈥 Wednesday 12 July, with over 140 free events and activities on offer at 成人直播 and locations across Dorset.
