Are you interested in making a difference to the future at ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥? We are launching a new forum to enable our students to have a say in the university’s strategy. If you would like to have a say about the big questions that will impact you and future students at ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥, then take a look at this exciting opportunity.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Student Strategic Insights and Opportunities Network (ViS2ION) is launching shortly and we are looking for students to participate. The group will meet twice during the 2019/2020 academic year and you will be paid for preparation, training and attendance at these meetings. We expect ViS2ION members to engage actively, be proactive, take time to prepare for meetings and participate fully in discussions.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a selection event on 20 November between 6pm and 8pm.
Successful candidates will then need to complete a two-hour induction session on 8 January between 6pm and 8pm.
The ViS2ION meetings for this academic year will be on
- 21 January 2020 - the theme will be ‘the future of learning and graduate futures’
- 24 March 2020 – the theme will be ‘a zero carbon world’.
Before you apply, please make sure that you can attend the selection event and the induction session, as well as both meetings, as attendance is mandatory for members at all four sessions. We will pay for your time for the induction session and two ViS2ION meetings and for any pre-work that will be required.
This opportunity is open to all students - Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research. We want to make sure that students from all groups and backgrounds have the opportunity to participate in this network. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
