成人直播 is hosting a month of events as a part of its climate month, to highlight 成人直播鈥檚 commitment to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030/31.

The university has recently published its Climate and Ecological Crisis Action Plan (CECAP) (pdf 1.5mb), which sets out the ways in which BU聽is taking its responsibility to the environment seriously, taking action to combat climate change.

Starting on 1 March, BU鈥檚 Climate Month will feature a number of events and activities designed to engage staff, students and the local community in BU鈥檚 action plan, and understanding the part each member of the community can play in helping the university to achieve its goal.

Lois Betts, BU鈥檚 Sustainability Manager, said:聽鈥淲e know our students and staff are passionate about working together to mitigate and adapt to the climate and ecological crisis. Universities have an essential leadership role and our CECAP vision shows how we are embedding responsibility for tackling the crisis across all areas of BU. We hope this panel event will showcase how we are doing this, and further inspire our community, within and beyond the university.鈥�

The first event, The Climate Crisis and Action in Bournemouth and Universities, brings together a panel of BU and BCP Council experts to understand the commitments made across Bournemouth and how each community member can take action in support of a positive climate. The event takes place on 3聽March, and attendance is free and available via registration聽through .

The publication of the university鈥檚 Plan coincides with COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference, which is due to be held in Glasgow in 2021.
