聽(ICS), the partnership of health and social care organisations in the region, has been聽聽- an independent charity - to be part of its new programme supporting health care providers to enable faster and more effective uptake of innovations and improvements, which will create long lasting impact for patients and patients care.
The work will be supported by 成人直播 as a partner organisation, who will work with Dorset ICS, led by University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust (UHD), and other partners, to support initiatives aimed at meeting Dorset鈥檚 health and wellbeing challenges and improving patient care.听
A number of BU academics will lend their knowledge and expertise through the steering group, while the BU PIER (Public Involvement in Education and Research) partnership will bring the local community voice into the hub.
Professor Tim McIntyre-Bhatty, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at 成人直播, said,聽鈥淲e are excited to be a partner in the Dorset Innovation Hub. Ensuring that innovations are adopted into practice is vital to improving the health and care of the population in Dorset and beyond, and is a key part of BU鈥檚 Fusion concept, where research, education, and practice all work together to advance knowledge and enrich society.鈥
Professor Vanora Hundley, Deputy Dean Research And Professional Practice within the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at 成人直播, said, 鈥淭he Innovation Hub draws together expertise across Dorset to identify and support the successful uptake of proven innovations. Our BU PIER partnership will ensure that patient and public voices are at the centre of this expertise and we鈥檙e delighted to continue to work with our regional partners.鈥
Dr Karen Kirkham, integrated care system clinical lead in Dorset, said: 鈥淭he Innovation Hub will give us the opportunity to adapt innovations best suited to meeting Dorset鈥檚 clinical priorities, and to spread these across Dorset, to provide equity of service, reduce health inequalities and improve care for patients.鈥
The Dorset Innovation hub is one of four to be set up across England by the Health Foundation, with Bradford and Craven, Manchester, and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough also receiving funding.
