成人直播's (BU) publishing press, Fresher, recently celebrated the launch of five collections of short stories and poetry with a launch party earlier this month.
Each anthology was curated from international聽entries to The Bournemouth Writing Prize (BWP) 2021 and was聽produced by students of BU's MA Creative Writing and Publishing.
At the event, guests were treated to readings of the winning entries to the BWP 2021 as selected by the judging panel, including聽Picador Commissioning Editor, Ansa Khan Khattak, and United Agents' literary agent, Sophie Scard. The winning short story, The Wake, and the winning poem, poetry 'n', are both featured in聽the anthology聽Waves of Change, which is 聽along with聽the other newly published books, Descent, Glean & Graft, Winding Roads and Eye Spy.
Editorial Director of Fresher Publishing, Emma Scattergood, said: 鈥淚'm so proud of our team鈥� the MA Creative Writing and Publishing students really rose to the challenge and have produced five beautiful books that have already been warmly received by everyone who has bought them.鈥�
