成人直播 students are hosting the annual Fusion Festival around聽Bournemouth and Poole.聽
The Fusion Festival, which will take place between 3 鈥� 6 May 2022, is a celebration of research education and professional practice at 成人直播. The festival is being run by BU鈥檚 second year Events Management聽students, who will be organising the face-to-face events in partnership with external stakeholders, along with the support of the Live Event teaching team.聽聽
Events Management students have worked with local businesses and charities to demonstrate their skills and abilities in planning and co-creating events that respond to an organisation鈥檚 specific need.聽
Dr Paola Vizcaino, Programme Leader for Events Management said: 鈥淚t is crucial for the BU Events Management course聽to provide real-life project opportunities like the Fusion Festival, to enable students to experience the roles and activities involved in planning, organising, staging, and evaluating a live event. The live event project allows students to develop their employability skills and demonstrate what they are capable of doing.鈥澛�
The events at the festival includean 鈥楢ll for One鈥� Film Festival, celebrating the intersection of LGBTQ+ and Ethnic Minority communities in Bournemouth, where attendees can enjoy an inviting space to hold conversations, watch short films and listen to guest speakers.聽聽
Other events include a 鈥楽trike Out for Dorset Cancer Care Foundation鈥�, involving a night of bowling fun, live music, food, drink, and a raffle to raise awareness of the work of local charity the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation (DCCF).聽 聽
Libby, one of the second year Event Management students whose group partnered with the charity聽to organise the event said: 鈥淲e are really pleased to partner with DCCF at it鈥檚 a great charity which helps local people who are struggling financially because of a cancer diagnosis. It鈥檚 quite a responsibility to organise an event for a charity from scratch. But the charity has been really helpful with advice and contacts to help get us started.鈥澛�
