As an organisation, BU continues to introduce various enhanced security measures to detect and protect ourselves against cyber-attacks. As part of this commitment all BU computers will be enrolled in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)聽solution.聽
MDE will enhance BU鈥檚 ability to protect our data and systems from聽cyber-attack by scanning our computer estate and identifying and remedying potential threats. MDE can also provide information on areas that we need to look at to strengthen protection.聽
This work will happen in the background and you do not need to do anything, however after enrolment you may notice聽some聽additional/different banners that you may not have seen before, please don鈥檛 worry, this is MDE working as it should.聽
