What is Learning Analytics?听
Learning Analytics combines different types of data听about听student engagement and learning to better understand and improve the student experience.听The student听web app,听Study Goal听is听already being听used听by听most听Foundation and first year students听who use听Checkin听to mark their attendance.听
What will I be doing?听
Within Study Goal听there are听additional听features which capture听student engagement听alongside attendance.听We听would like to work with as many听Foundation听and first year students听as possible to听look at these extra features听and see how听beneficial听they are听to听supporting your听learning.听Your feedback听along with听the experience of our teaching staff will inform decisions about rolling this out to a wider group.听
How long will it take?听
The plan is to run the focus group towards the end of March. The session will take place online and will last no longer than 45 minutes.听
