We want to inform you about essential road works that may impact your bus commute starting from 2 January 2024.

The works are set to begin on Lansdowne Road for a gas mains replacement. Please be aware of the following changes to your Unibus services:

U1:

• Normal route from Dorchester House to Talbot Campus
• Talbot Campus back to Dorchester House via Wellington Road rather than Lansdowne Road.

U2 and U3:

• No changes to routes.

U4:

• Normal route to Talbot Campus
• Special diversion after Talbot Campus: turning right onto Wimborne Road, right again to Braidley Road, down to the roundabout, and then left into Bournemouth Triangle. This diversion is due to simultaneous works on Branksome Wood Road.

Once the works progress beyond the stretch of bus lane from Beechy Road to Cemetry Junction, all services should resume their normal routes. This is planned for mid-February.
