If you were unable to start your studies on your course start date, which for most students was Monday 22 January, you may have missed the opportunity to participate in your induction week for your faculty.
To help you get familiar with your studies after arriving at ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ late, we are running catch-up induction sessions throughout February. If you missed the first week of your course, please make sure you attend one of these important catch-up sessions where you will find important information about your studies and everything you need to know about your course.

Book onto a tour of Bournemouth Town
Get to know other students that are new to BU and get familiar with the local area at one of our Bournemouth Town Tours. Tours will start at 2:30pm (meet in front of The Old Firestation, Lansdowne Campus). for the tours taking place on Thursday 8 February or Thursday 22 February.
Meet new friends!
Another great opportunity to meet new people is our Global Cafe. This takes place every Wednesday during term-time, from 5pm to 6:30pm in the Faith & Reflection Centre on Talbot Campus. It’s a place to meet other international students and relax and you can enjoy free hot and cold drinks and cookies.
We’re also giving new January/February 2024 students priority to book tickets for the Cultural Connections Quiz and Dinner. This free event is a fun evening where you’ll meet other students from all over the world. The quiz takes place on Thursday 29 January between 6pm and 8pm.
