Student Wellbeing will continue to offer an appointment-based service over the summer, this will mostly be remote appointments, but a limited number of face-to-face appointments will also be available. Please note that there will be no drop-ins available over the summer.

University RetreatÌý
TheÌýUniversity RetreatÌýon Talbot Campus will be closed fromÌýMonday 24Ìý- Friday 28 June for staff training, and will then close for the summer from Saturday 20ÌýJulyÌýuntil Monday 9ÌýSeptember.
During this time The Retreat run by Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust in Bournemouth town centre and Dorchester continues to be available during the summer months. Both these locations are staffed with peer specialists and mental health professionals who won’t offer medication or formal therapy, but will support and promote self-management. If you are unable to get to Bournemouth or Dorchester,  is available at our  in Weymouth, Bridport, Wareham and Shaftesbury, Thursday-Sunday, 2.15-9.45pm. All offer face-to-face and virtual drop-ins.Ìý

provide a free, confidential text messaging service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After texting 85258 you will be sent four automated messages before being matched with a Shout volunteer who will listen to you without judgement and offer their support.Ìý
