In order to take advantage of new approaches to learning and teaching, as well as developments in practice to benefit our students we regularly review all of our courses. This course is currently going through this process, and we will update this page to give you full information about what we will be offering once the review process has concluded.鈥疶hese changes will come into effect for all new students from September 2025听entry.Applicants will be notified by our admissions team of any changes.

Our registered nursing degree apprenticeships (RNDA) in Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing allows听you to be employed and听receiving a full wage while studying. The apprenticeships are recognised by the new Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nurses (May 2018). These standards听set out the knowledge and skills that you, as the next generation of nurses will learn, to enable you to deliver world class nursing care across a variety of health settings. On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a BSc (Hons) degree qualification and be听able to apply for professional registration with the NMC.

Applications must be made via an听employer 鈥 therefore prospective apprentices should either be employed in a healthcare role and have the support of their employer, or have made an application to a healthcare provider鈥檚 apprenticeship vacancy.听For those who are not eligible for nursing through the degree apprenticeships route, please take a look at our BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing and BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing courses as an alternative.
