Dr Susan Dewhurst is Head of Department and Principal Academic in Exercise Physiology in the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Sciences. Having previously worked as a lecturer and researcher in academic institutions in Scotland, NW England, Denmark and Rome, and as a Senior Scientific 鈥�

Dr Williams is an Associate Professor of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Deputy Head of Department for Rehabilitation and Sport Science. He leads a programme of research work at the interface of Physiotherapy and Biomechanics with a focus on clinical, rehabilitation and sporting contexts. The 鈥�

As Associate Dean for the Student Experience, Joanna works with the Faculty Executive, Department Heads and their Deputies, Programme Leaders, Programme Support colleagues and the Student's Union to support and enhance all aspects of our students' experience. Joanna strives to build a strong and 鈥�

I graduated as a physiotherapist in 2003 from The Sage Colleges in Troy, New York, USA. I worked as a physiotherapist for nine years in Chicago, USA, specialising in neurology. During this time I enjoyed being a clinical supervisor to physiotherapy students and became interested in research. I 鈥�

Alex Dunford is an experience physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Before starting a full-time role at 成人直播, she worked as senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in Wiltshire. As a physiotherapist Alex鈥檚 experience includes working in private practice 鈥�

Shelley Ellis's (nee Broomfield) primary research interest is with the development and use of equipment within sport. This work uses a biomechanical technique analysis approach, combining anthropometry and ergonomics with performance in the sporting domain. This is currently being applied within 鈥�

Jane is a Registered Nutritionist and Dietitian and co-leads the Ageing and Dementia Research Centre at 成人直播. Her research is committed to key nutrition-related problems in older adults, especially the complex problems faced by people living with dementia and translation of 鈥�

I am a Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Sciences, with a number of strategic University roles, including REF2021 Lead and Impact Champion for UoA 24c. I am a Higher Education Academy Fellow, as well as a British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist and Associate 鈥�

Paul is a lecturer in Nutrition and Exercise Science. He leads the Research Methods and Principles of Food and Nutrition modules as well as contributing towards many other units across both the nutrition and sport and exercise science programs.

Juliette qualified as an occupational therapist (OT) in 1990. She has undertaken a range of clinical roles and began specialising in neurological rehabilitation in 1993. She has redesigned out patient neurological services in Southampton to facilitate the development of a work rehabilitation 鈥�

I am a solid Nutrition Scientist, registered nutritionist (Nutrition Science) with AfN and an elected trustee to the AfN Council. I have a 1st class degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. After 12 months in weight management dietetics i gained a full-time postgraduate scholarship from the 鈥�

I am a registered nutritionist (Public Health) with the Association of Nutrition (AfN). I gained my qualification in Nutrition & Community Health and completed both my MSc. and PhD. in Food Management at the University of Surrey with a scholarship. My PhD. research was focused on hospital 鈥�

Dr Bernadette Waters is a Principal Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, 成人直播. She is currently the Professional and Programme Lead for the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy programme. Dr Waters has always been enthusiastic to ensure that the student experience 鈥�

Malika joined BU in 2017 to complete her PhD in Health Sciences and joined the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Sciences in February 2021 as a Lecturer in Health and Exercise Science. In September 2023, she was promoted to Senior Lecturer and she is currently the Programme Leader for BSc ( 鈥�
