³ÉÈËÖ±²¥'s Department of Psychology is pleased to announce the Summer Meeting of the Experimental Psychology Society, on 10 – 12 July 2019.
The EPS facilitates research in experimental psychology and scientific communication amongst experimental psychologists and those working in cognate fields. The society has many members in Europe and elsewhere overseas. The EPS holds regular scientific meetings, usually three times a year, at which members and guests present their work. This year's Summer Meeting is organised by Dr Peter Hills and Dr Andrew Johnson and is to be hosted at Kimmeridge House, on ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥'s Talbot Campus.Â
The meeting will include the 47th Frederic Bartlett Lecture by Professor Dorothy Bishop, with an accompanying symposium organised by David Shanks. The event will also include a locally organised symposium Current Trends in Identity and Emotion Processing in Faces (Convener: Dr Alla Yankouskaya) and the British Science Association/EPS Undergraduate Project Prize talk by one of the joint winners, Gwydion Williams of UCL.
Attendees will be invited to a wine reception and poster session on Wednesday 10 July. The event dinner will be held on Thursday 11 July at the Miramar Hotel in Bournemouth.Â
