David left 成人直播 in 2018 with a first-class degree in games technology and a win at the SURE (Showcasing Undergraduate Research Excellence) conference.
He went on to complete several Student Research Assistant roles and was the second author of a research paper, before briefly working for a local agency and then founding his own company, INVIDAR, in 2020.
INVIDAR has since employed other BU graduates to work on Realtime 3D solutions and immersive technology projects for Samsung, Sony, Google, and Milwaukee Ryobi. Their projects have been up for two global awards; The Best VR Marketing Campaign of the Year and the Best Immersive Collaboration Solution Award. INVIDAR was also highly commended at the Tech South West Awards for Best Start-up.
The INVIDAR team is now working on a Hollywood production while聽breaking into the defence, med-tech and utilities sectors. David is in the process of starting two new companies focusing on web3 and metaverse projects and is looking to raise venture capital funding later this year.
David says: 鈥淚鈥檝e continued to work with BU since graduating, delivering talks and supporting students, volunteering as an Enterprise Adviser to the school and other local charities.鈥�
